Head to block sealing is an extremely high priority when increasing the power output of any engine. Combustion pressures and temperatures can increase dramatically on highly tuned engines, as well as head/block distortions.
The TODA K20A headgasket has a thickness of 0.3mm (stock headgasket thickness is 0.6mm). It is designed to increase the engine compression ratio by 0.4.

At 0.3mm, the TODA headgasket leaves little margin for error. Before installing, the user must ensure the cylinder head and engine block surfaces are suitable and prepared for a new headgasket installation. The TODA headgasket can only be used once; meaning once the cylinder head has been removed, the TODA headgasket cannot be reused again.
